Hogwarts Legacy is a magical adventure with various fun, quirky and interesting characters. It has courageous kids in the Gryffindor house and some clever children in Ravenclaw. Slytherin house has many unruly students, who add some much-needed spice to Hogwarts Legacy, and we’ve got a handful of quirky and kind-hearted kids in the Hufflepuff house. And yes, today I’ll be ranking the best students in the house known for yellow and black. It’s time to rank Oakes, Tugwood and our popular Poppy Sweeting. Here are the top 5 students of Hufflepuff house in Hogwarts Legacy!
Fun Fact – Amelie Newton voices 3 Hufflepuff characters in Hogwarts Legacy: Evangeline Bardsley, Adelaide Oakes and Sacharissa Tugwood.
5. Evangeline Bardsley

Voice By: Amelie Newton
Evangeline is the sweetheart who asks you for help during the All’s Well That Ends Bell quest. In it, you will help her find, and then rearrange, the bells in Hogwart. While the quest is rather enjoyable, and melodically fun, the quest-giver does little to grab my attention. Evangeline is simply a kind-hearted Hufflepuff student who loves traditions, and who is willing to go against Headmaster Black to keep some of them alive. While that’s all fine and dandy, Eva just comes and goes with the quest, without much personality. In turn, she’s a forgettable character. But she’s the best of the worst, so she’ll grab herself the 5th spot on my list of the top 5 Hufflepuff students in Hogwarts Legacy!
4. Adelaide Oakes

Voice By: Amelie Newton
Adelaide Oakes is a lesser-known Hufflepuff, who asks you to save her uncle Rowland, during The Tale of Rowland Oakes quest. It’s one of the best quests in the game, and with it comes a good amount of information about Rowland, but also Adelaide. To find out that her uncle was taking care of her, after her mother died during childbirth and her father passed when she was 5 years old, was truly devastating. But, it gave us some insight on Adelaide and Rowland, and their father-daughter dynamic. While heartwarming, the backstory itself was gut-wrenching. In turn, Adelaide Oakes was a rather interesting character, who genuinelly had a story to tell.
🥉 Arthur Plummly

Voice By: Luke Youngblood
Arthur Plummly is the treasure hunting Hufflepuff, whose nasally voice will be etched into the depths of your ears. It’s the price you have to pay for some loot, so it’s worth it, surely? While I personally enjoyed the Cache in the Castle quest, it wasn’t anything special. So why did I give Arthur Plummly the 3rd place on my list? He simply has more character than Evangeline and Adelaide. While it may be for all the wrong reasons, at least Arthur is memorable. His nasally voice and geeky behavior make him stand out among the more bland Hufflepuffs. It’s really that simple!
🥈 Sacharissa Tugwood

Voice By: Amelie Newton
This perplexing Hufflepuff student cares about pimples? Not her own skin blemishes, but the acne of others? Well, it seems like Sacharissa is a really empathetic person, doesn’t she? But I must say, from her attitude, it seems like she’s just tired of looking at her fellow students with zits all over their face! If the Spot Removal questline taught me anything about Sacharissa, it’s that her motives are unclear, and that she has a keen interest in magical beauty products.
While Sacharissa Tugwood is only relevant during the Spot Removal quest, she made my long adventure at Hogwarts a bit more “colorful”, if you know what I mean? Most students with one quest to their name are usually rather bland and uninteresting. I can’t say any of those things about Sacharissa. In fact, I’d say that she was very entertaining thanks to her dialogue. While that’s not much, it’s more than I can say about the majority of Hufflepuff students that don’t make me feel anything at all. At least Sacharissa had a personality, a distinct hobby/interest, and a look that made her more memorable than others. So, together with her purple hair, I’d say that Sacharissa is the 2nd best Hufflepuff student in Hogwarts Legacy!
🥇 Poppy Sweeting

Voice By: Alice Haldane
Poppy Sweeting is a kind-hearted Hufflepuff, who’s willing to risk her life to save and protect animals from vile and nasty poachers. In her heroic journey, we help Poppy Sweeting achieve some truly remarkable things, like saving a Hebridean Black from a dragon fight pit. Through our adventures together, we meet our first Hippogriff and even see the rare Mooncalf dance. I guess you could say that Poppy’s questline is among the most giving, heartwarming and jaw-dropping.

What can I say about Poppy Sweeting that hasn’t been said before? She’s one of a kind. She’s an individual that throws us into the magical world of animals, while also presenting us with our first Hippogriff mount. If that’s not enough, her questline is honestly one of my favorites. While it’s not as emotionally engaging as Sebastian Sallow’s adventure, Poppy’s journey is a more light-hearted and positive one. It feels very good questing with Poppy, and I’d say that a lot of it has to do with her personality and gentle behavior. In turn, I’d say that Poppy is not only the best Hufflepuff, but one of the best characters in all of Hogwarts Legacy.
