Yostar Pictures is producing an original golf-themed anime, Sorairo Utility. More specifically, it’s a golf anime, with three female main characters, as seen on the illustration found below. But as of now, there’s no information regarding the cast, crew or release date.
Kengo Saitou‘s wish has come true, hasn’t it? On his Twitter account, he announced the Sorairo Utility golf anime, expressing his joy over being able to make it. Thus, it’s a passion project at heart, which means that it might be an anime we should all keep an eye on, right? So if you’re into sports anime, let’s hope that Sorairo Utility lives up to expectations.
Perhaps you’re wondering, who’s Kengo Saitou? He’s an animation director, known for his work on the following: Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia, SSSS.Gridman.

Yostar Pictures is most well-known for Azur Lane and Azur Lane: Bisoku Zenshin! Both of these 12-episode TV anime are action sci-fi comedies, with slice-of-life elements.
There’s no timeline for the release of Sorairo Utility. But considering the October reveal, I’m sure we’re looking at a mid-to-late 2022 premiere.
