There’s something special about horror-comedies, isn’t there? They rarely work, but when they do, it’s equal parts funny and scary. But, that’s part of the fun. While it’s not a sub-genre for everybody, it seems that Werewolves Within will be giving us more laughter than fear, and that’s fantastic. The film is slated for a mid-summer release, so it’s one of those goofy feel-good flicks, that’ll catch you with a couple of jump-scares. Anyhow, the Werewolves Within trailer looks quite quirky, so perhaps you should check it out!
Werewolves Within is based on a video game of the same name, released in 2016. Albeit a lesser-known VR game, it was developed by Red Storm Entertainment, known for Rainbow Six games, and numerous co-developed works with Ubisoft. While it’s a peculiar decision to adapt a VR game, it should be noted that the film is published by Ubisoft Film & Television. Nevertheless, it’ll be an interesting movie. If nothing else, I’m sure it’ll be worth a few giggles!
“Ehh, also… there’s a dead body under your porch.” – Finn

When a snowstorm traps its residents together inside the local inn, newly arrived forest ranger Finn (Sam Richardson) and postal worker Cecily (Milana Vayntrub) must try to keep the peace and uncover the truth behind a mysterious creature that has begun terrorizing the community.”
