The Strongest Sage With the Weakest Crest (Shikkakumon no Saikyou Kenja) TV anime got its first trailer, showing off J.C.Staff’s next action adventure. It’s slated to premiere in January, 2022.
Noriaki Akitaya (Bakuman, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection) is directing the anime at J.C.Staff. But The Strongest Sage TV anime isn’t the only thing that Noriaki Akitaya is working on. In-fact, he’s directing the upcoming Lady Napoleon and Slow Loop TV shows as well. But before I wander away from the beaten path, let’s focus on The Strongest Sage With the Weakest crest, shall we? So, who’s he working together with? So, he’s working with Hiroki Uchida (series composition) and Yui Nakashima, who will perform the show’s theme song.
The anime is based on Shotou Shinkou‘s manga, titled Shikkakumon no Saikyou Kenja: Sekai Saikyou no Kenja ga Sarani Tsuyokunaru Tame ni Tensei Shimashita. It’s written by Shotou Shinkou and illustrated by Huuka Kazabana. It debuted on May 15, 2017.
