The Conjuring 3 trailer has finally been released, and it looks mighty different, doesn’t it? The sun is shining, we’re in court and we’re dealing with a murder case, where the defendant claims that the devil made him do it. While it sounds interesting, there’s obvious cause for concern, as James Wan didn’t direct this film. Instead, The Conjuring 3 is the vision of Michael Chaves, the man behind The Curse of La Lorrona. Believe me, you’re not alone in being worried about this peculiar decision, as I’m one of them. Nevertheless, all of our questions will be answered early June, when The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It premieres! So, scroll down and watch The Conjuring 3 trailer below!
“The court accepts the existence of God, everytime a witness swears to tell the truth. I think it’s about time we accept the existence of the Devil.” – Ed Warren
PLOT: Ed and Lorraine Warren get caught up in the trial of Arne Cheyenne Johnson, a man who killed a person in cold blood. However, it’s no ordinary case, considering that he claims that “the devil” made him do it, and he wholeheartedly believes that. Thus, Ed and Lorraine Warren must uncover the truth, and find out who’s really behind the murder. If they’re not fast enough, more blood is bound to be spilled, and it might just be Ed and Lorraine’s if they’re not careful!
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is directed by Michael Chaves and written by David Leslie Johnson McGoldrick. It stars Patrick Wilson, Vera Farmiga, Ruairi O’Connor and Sarah Catherine Hook. Currently, The Conjuring 3 is slated to premiere on June 4, 2021.
