The Teppen (stylized as Teppen—!!!) is getting an anime, with the storyline revolving around 3 hopeful high school comedians! While there’s no confirmed release date, it will premiere in 2022.
This TV anime is based on the Teppen manga, created by Inujun (story) and Namamugi (art). But what’s the significance of that? Well, the manga itself is based on the three voice actresses who announced the Teppen anime adaptation; Aimi, Mikoi Sasaki and Ayasa Itou. While they revealed the Teppen anime on Twitter, the three have a YouTube Channel, where they upload all the time! So I suggest checking out Team Y!

When it comes to Aimi, Mikoi and Ayasa, it’s important to note their work as voice actors. So how about we take a dive into their previous work? Let’s get into it right now! So scroll below for some helpful information and links about Aimi, Mikoi and Ayasa!
Get to Know the Teppen TV Anime Voice Cast

Aimi Terakawa is most well-known for voicing Kasumi Toyama in the BanG Dream! anime series. But she’s also recognized for Yuuri Amakage in Battle Game In 5 Seconds and Kyouko Yamate in D4DJ: First Mix. But what about my Freezing Vibration fans? If you’ve seen it, you definitely know Roxanne Elipton, who’s also voiced by Aimi. And for those of you wondering, she’s still actively voice acting, while also being a YouTuber.
Mikoi Sasaki is known for lending her voice to Hercule Burton in Tantei Opera Milky Holmes and Piyo-tan in Etotama. But do you want to know a fun fact? Mikoi also voiced a character in BanG Dream!, just like Aimi Terakawa. She voiced Nanana Wanibe. And just like Aimi, she’s still voice acting, with 3 roles in 2021.
Ayasa Itou has also voiced a character in BanG Dream!, so let’s get that out of the way, shall we? She’s the voice of Arisa Ichigaya. But she’s also well-known for playing Tamate Momochi in Slow Start and voicing Kaouruko Hanayagi in Revue Starlight. In addition, I’d like to add that she’s the voice of Minarai Seijo in Goblin Slayer. And yes, Ayasa Itou is still voice acting, with roles lined up for 2022.
