Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie (Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san) anime was revealed on January 1, 2021. Today, it was announced that Doga Kobo‘s anime adaptation will premiere in April, 2022.
Ryota Itoh is directing (assistant) Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie TV anime, with Yoshimi Narita working on series composition. In addition, Ai Kikuchi is designing the characters. But that’s not all! The anime’s website revaled that Saori Oonishi will voice Shikimori Micchon and Shuichiro Umeda will play Izumi Yuu. Thus, it’s an anime adaptation worth keeping an eye out!
Keigo Maki‘s manga series debuted in February, 2019. Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie is published by Kodansha in Magazine Pocket, with a total of 9 volumes released to date.
