It’s not a joke. It’s official! Record of Ragnarok season 2 has been announced on the anime’s website. It’s a short news post, revealing the upcoming production of season 2, without any teasers. However, it’s not a surprising announcement, considering the success of the first season. But only time will tell in what direction Graphinica will take with Record of Ragnarok season 2. Thus, I’ll leave you with the announcement illustration and some information regarding the show!

Plot: “Every 1000 years, gods of every pantheon convene and hold a conference to decide the fate of humanity by calling a vote to determine whether or not the human race should continue living or go extinct. So with the most recent of these conferences having concluded, the gods unanimously decided to put humanity to an end. However, at the very last second, the eldest of the Valkyries, accompanied by the youngest, intervened and made the bold proposition to let humanity have a say in their fate by letting them go against the gods in a series of one-on-one fights to see if they are worthy of continuing to exist. Afraid to let go of their pride, the gods accept this proposal. Thirteen gods will fight against thirteen human champions. The first side to reach seven victories will decide humanity’s fate.”

Record of Ragnarok is a fantastic anime, with liquid animations and mesmerizing action scenes. Thus, it’s a must-watch if you’re into thrilling conflicts and brutal altercations. But don’t worry, the show has plenty of light-hearted humor and some truly dramatic moments. So it covers all the basics needed, right? I’d suggest you watch it, that’s all!

There’s no release date for Record of Ragnarok season 2. While it’s difficult to guess, it’s likely going to premiere exclusively on Netflix in late 2022.
