When Stone Ocean was first announced, it was released together with a 1-minute teaser trailer. Ever since that day, JoJo stans have been longing for the official Stone Ocean trailer, and guess what? It was just released by Netflix, and it’s a whopping 2 minutes and 16 seconds long. While it’s merely the first official trailer, it gives us a great look at David Production’s animation. Also, the trailer showcases the characters and teases the storyline, without giving away too much. In turn, it’s quite a complete trailer. Thus, I present to you the official Stone Ocean trailer, found below!

Plot: “Set in 2011, Jolyne Cujoh is sentenced to 15 years in prison after being involved in a car accident and being framed for a murder. She is imprisoned at Green Dolphin Street Prison in Florida, nicknamed the “Aquarium.” Her father, Jotaro Kujo, gives her a pendant that causes a mysterious power to awaken inside of her. When a series of inexplicable events occur, Jotaro informs his daughter that a disciple of DIO’s framed her so that he could kill her in prison, and urges her to escape.”

David Production is producing Stone Ocean, directed by Kenichi Suzuki, together with Toshiyuki Kato. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean is slated to premiere on Netflix in December, 2021.
