John Boyega’s Naked Singularity Trailer Is Trippy

This is one of those “special” films that’ll peak your interest, where you like it or not! Therefore, the Naked Singularity trailer is a must watch. It’s a film based on Sergio De La Pava’s novel of the same name. While it was released in 2008 through XLibris, it was re-published 4 years later and won the PEN Prize for Debut Fiction in 2013. In turn, it’s a novel worth checking out, if the trailer or story grab your interest. Above and beyond that, the film adaptation has a superb. In addition, it has cinematography by Andrij Parekh. “What if you can beat the system at its own game?” – Casi

Plot: “Naked Singularity tells the story of Casi (John Boyega), a promising young NYC public defender whose idealism is beginning to crack under the daily injustices of the very justice system he’s trying to make right. Doubting all he has worked for and seeing signs of the universe collapsing all around him, he is pulled into a dangerous high-stakes drug heist by an unpredictable former client (Olivia Cooke) in an effort to beat the broken system at its own game.”

Naked Singularity is directed by Chase Palmer, who co-wrote the screenplay together with David Matthews. The film stars John Boyega, Olivia Cooke, Bill Skarsgård and Ed Skrein. It premiered at SFIFF (San Francisco International Film Festival), and is slated to be released in the USA on August 6, 2021.
