The first trailer for season 2 of J.C.Staff‘s How a Realist Hero Rebuilt The Kingdom has arrived, and as expected, it’s all types of isekai fun! While it’s 30 seconds long, the trailer does in-fact reveal that the second season will premiere in January, 2022.
Takashi Watanabe is the director of season 1, with Hiroshi Oonogi and Gou Zappa responsible for the series composition. It’s a J.C.Staff-created TV anime, licensed by Funimation. The show premiered on July 4, 2021.
J.C.Staff’s TV anime is based on Dozeumaru‘s light novel series, How a Realist Hero Rebuilt The Kingdom (Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki). It began serialization on May 25, 2016. But it started as a novel series in 2014. It has also spawned a manga and now 2 seasons of the J.C.Staff TV show.

Plot: “Kazuya Souma found himself summoned to another world and his adventure–did not begin. After he presents his plan to strengthen the country economically and militarily, the king cedes the throne to him and Souma finds himself saddled with ruling the nation. What’s more, he’s betrothed to the king’s daughter now. In order to get the country back on its feet, Souma calls the wise, the talented, and the gifted to his side. Five people gather before the newly crowned Souma.”
