He’s behind Digimon: The Movie, Wolf Children, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Mirai, and his recent masterpiece, Belle. It’s honestly heartwarming to see a director this dedicated to his craft. Now, after Belle’s debut at the Cannes 2021 Film Festival, it’s been confirmed that Belle will be released in the UK. Mamoru Hosoda’s Belle debuted at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival on July 15, 2021. The film premiered in Japan 1 day later. Belle is currently set to be released in North America late 2021.
Belle is slated for a cinematic release in the UK and Ireland early 2022. The dates are currently unknown.
