Ghost In The Shell: SAC_2045 (Koukaku Kidoutai: SAC_2045) compilation film just got a teaser trailer. It’s short and sweet, with a few dialogue lines to get you hyped! But that’s not all, as it’s released together with a striking poster. It features the ONA’s main characters, and reveals the November 12 release date! So what’s the title of the movie? It’s Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 – Sustainable Warfare.
The 12-episode anime debuted on Netflix on April 23, 2020. It’s produced by Production I.G and Sola Digital Arts, with both Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki directing the show.
Ghost In The Shell: SAC_2045 is getting a second season, currently rumored to premiere at an unknown date in 2022.

Plot: “Section Nine is shut down, with many of its operatives leaving Japan to form a mercenary group called Ghost. Motoko Kusanagi and the other members of Ghost are soon forced to work for a well-connected American on what is supposed to be a rescue mission. Meanwhile, the new Japanese prime minister has tasked Daisuke Aramaki with reopening Section Nine. With most of his former employees out of the country, Aramaki turns to Togusa to discover Ghost’s whereabouts and contact them.”
