Shinobu Ohtaka, the mangaka of Sumomomo Momomo and Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, will be going 3-for-3 on anime adaptations, and that’s quite special, isn’t it? Of course, I’m talking about her ongoing manga series, titled Orient, getting an anime adaptation by A.C.G.T. Thus, every one of Shinobu Ohtaka’s mangas has been adapted into an anime. I mean, that’s pretty impressive, and Orient will likely be the best adaptation to date! Given, it’s just a guess based on the manga’s storyline, it’s not too far fetched considering the staff (found below). While it’s obviously impossible to know for sure, I got my hopes up, and so will you after seeing the key visual below!
The official website for the Orient anime released information about the staff, voice actors, and even dropped a key visual. It features the adventure’s lead character Musashi, and the blonde-haired deuteragonist named Kojiro Kanemaki. Thus, I suggest you check out the Orient anime visual below, and also read-up on plot of the show!
The Orient anime adaptation will have music composed by Hideyuki Fukusawa, the man known for making fighting game music. I’m talking about Street Fighter IV, Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and Street Fighter X Tekken. In turn, we can expect some action-packed, adrenaline-pumping, and spine-tingling music for Orient!
The First Orient Anime Visual: Musashi & Kojiro Back-to-Back, Ready to Wreak Havoc!

Plot: “At age 10, best friends Musashi and Kojiro sat in excited silence as Kojiro’s father spun tales of evil demons who preyed on the innocent, and the warriors who defeated them. Practicing swordplay, the two swear an oath to become the strongest in the world. But as they grow up, Kojiro turns cynical, and Musashi comes to realize that he can’t turn back 150 years of demon rule on his own. He’s being called a prodigy with a pickaxe, and he’s almost ready to settle for a life of labor. Yet he can’t shake the feeling that he still has a responsibility to act…and, soon, the injustices of his world will force his hand…”
