Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? (DanMachi) Season 4 gets a 90-second trailer with English subtitles! While it’s simply a showcase of the characters and their voice actors, it’s a great sneak peek into DanMachi’s upcoming season. Season 4 of DanMachi will premiere in 2022.
What about the cast and crew? Hideki Tachibana (director), Hideki Shirane (Script Supervisor), Jin Aketagawa (sound director) and Keiji Inai (composer) will return for season 4. But what about the animation studio? There’s no reason to worry as the talented people at J.C.Staff will return, with production companies Egg Firm and SB Creative back as well. Thus, the show will feel the same and look the same!
What’s new? Fujino Omori, the original author of DanMachi, is going to work alongside Hideki Shirane as a script supervisor. While that may not seem like a big deal, I’d say it’s rather significant. But why? We’re talking about the person responsible for DanMachi’s existence, with his light novels being the source of the product. Thus, it’s safe to assume that Omori will influence the way the story plays out and what’s included in it. But only time will tell if that’s good or bad.

Plot: The story follows the exploits of Bell Cranel, a 14-year-old solo adventurer under the goddess Hestia. As the only member of the Hestia Familia, he works hard to make ends meet. He looks up to Ais Wallenstein, a famous and powerful swordswoman who once saved his life, and with whom he fell in love. He is unaware that several other girls, deities and mortals alike, also develop affections towards him; most notably Hestia herself, as he also gains allies and improves himself with each new challenge he faces.
