Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest is getting another season, and do you know what that means? Colorful characters, action-packed monster fights, and plenty of fan service to make you flustered! But, it’s not just a “fan service anime“, as some may believe. Quite the contrary, as Arifureta is pretty entertaining, with some badass moments and fun storytelling. While that may not mean much, it’s worth checking out the second season of Arifureta, with a new studio and director in charge! Simply from watching the Arifureta 2 trailer, there’s obvious changes in directing, especially when considering the angles. Maybe that’s just me? Anyways, I suggest you check out the Arifureta 2 trailer, and judge for yourself!

Arifureta Season 2 Gets New Studio and New Director
Plot: The story of Arifureta revolves around high school students, who are summoned to a fantasy world as heroes. Then, they’re given powerful abilities to fight monsters, and save mankind. But, there’s one major problem! Our hero of the story, Hajime Nagumo, merely gains basic alchemical magic. As a result, he’s betrayed by one of his classmates, and thrown into the bottom of a dungeon. Thus, our once innocent and bullied hero, must change and embrace the darkness in-order to survive, and it’s not long before he’s an anti-hero. On his journey, he fights through several dungeons, and comes across a vampire, a bunny-eared girl and a naughty dragon! Trust me, it’s just as great as it sounds!
Akira Iwanaga will direct Arifureta 2, replacing Kinji Yoshimoto. While a questionable decision, it’ll be interesting to see how Akira’s involvement will alter the storytelling elements of Arifutera. Therefore, Asread and Studio Mother will have to produce a quality anime, if it’ll be able to live up to the core fans’ expectations.
Arifureta season 2 is slated to premiere in January, 2022.
