Akebi’s Sailor Uniform (Akebi-chan no Sailor-fuku) is an upcoming slice-of-life anime, produced by Aniplex and created by CloverWorks. It’s currently slated to premiere in January, 2022.

Whether it’s short voice cast promos, crew/staff details or the trailer, Akebi’s Sailor Uniform is being set up like a proper TV anime. While it’s far too early to tell, it’s definitely looking good. However, if you know anything about Hiro’s manga, it’s rather slow and timid, with the plot revolving around making friends. I mean, it’s a slice-of-life, so it’s all about interpretation when it comes to the anime adaptation. But enough chit-chat! The TV anime is based on Hiro‘s ongoing manga series of the same name. In total, 8 volumes have been released, with the manga itself making its debut on August 2, 2016.
